Alan B. Rindler, President, founding member and Managing Director of Rindler • Morgan, P.C.
Attorney Rindler has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years, defending over 175 jury trials to verdicts. His practice covers all fields of medicine for individuals and healthcare institutions, in state and federal court, as well as the Board of Registration for Medicine.
Formerly he was a partner at Morrison, Mahoney & Miller (Boston 1986-1996), and an associate at Devine, Millimet, Stahl & Branch (1978-1984). Currently he is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Massachusetts Society of Healthcare Risk Management.
Mr. Rindler has served as a member of the National CLE Program Advisory Committee for the American Bar Association on “The Experts Analyze Brain Damaged Baby Cases” (1997, 1999, 2004) and now he serves on the Advisory Board of the UC Davis Center for Perinatal Medicine and Law.
Mr. Rindler is a graduate of McGill University (1971) and Northeastern University School of Law (1976).

Douglas A. Morgan, is a shareholder of Rindler • Morgan, P.C., and one of its founding members in 1996.
Attorney Morgan has been representing healthcare providers since 1988. He began his career in New York City working at the New York City Law Department’s Special Litigation and Medical Malpractice Unit where he represented the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation defending and trying cases predominantly in New York and Bronx Counties.
In 1991 he moved to Massachusetts and he continued his representation of healthcare professionals. Yearly, he tries multiple cases on behalf of healthcare providers, group practices and hospitals in medical malpractice and general liability actions.
He also has an extensive practice before the Board of Registration in Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy as well as other Boards. Moreover, he also has extensive experience in other areas of Healthcare Litigation involving peer review, employment, HIPAA, DPH investigations, business matters and other related health and medical issues.
He graduated with Honors in Philosophy of Law from Hobart College in 1983 and obtained his law degree from New York Law School in 1988. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Paul R. Greenberg is a shareholder of Rindler • Morgan, P.C., and one of its founding members in 1996.
Attorney Greenberg is an experienced trial attorney, having successfully defended many clients in both state and federal court. Mr. Greenberg has represented physicians, dentists, nurses and other health care providers in defense of medical malpractice claims, and before various boards of registration which license these professionals. He also concentrates in general liability, and personal injury litigation.
Formerly, he was an associate at Mirick O'Connell in Worcester from 1988 to 1994, and at Morrison Mahoney in Boston from 1994 to 1998.
Mr. Greenberg is a graduate of the University of Rochester (1985), and Boston College Law School (1988). He is a member of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute. He was also selected by the publishers of Boston Magazine as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in 2008.

Joan F. Renehan, Director at Rindler • Morgan and with the firm since 2000.
Attorney Renehan brings extensive trial experience to the firm, having previously worked as an assistant district attorney at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in the Middlesex Superior Court, and several Massachusetts district courts, where she served as a supervisor.
Ms. Renehan is a former law clerk to the Honorable Reginald C. Lindsay of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Ms. Renehan specializes in medical malpractice litigation and the representation of health care professionals and hospitals in all phases of litigation and at the Board of Registration in Medicine. She has tried cases in the superior and district courts in Massachusetts, and she has argued in the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
Ms. Renehan is a graduate of Boston College, cum laude (1986) and of the Suffolk University Law School (1993). Ms. Renehan studied abroad at the University of Dublin, Trinity College, from 1984 –1985. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and is rated BV by Martin Dale-Hubbell.

Julie A. Marinilli, Associate
Attorney Marinilli has been with Rindler • Morgan as an associate since 2002.

Gerald M. Coakley, Associate
Attorney Coakley joined the firm as an associate in 2004.
Mr. Coakley's practice encompasses all aspects of civil litigation such as arguing before medical tribunals, conducting extensive discovery and depositions, retaining experts, representing medical professionals at depositions, evaluating cases for settlement and verdict value, and preparing for trial.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Coakley began his career as an associate at Cunningham, Meyer and Vedrine, a boutique litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois where he gained experience in all areas of insurance defense litigation while similarly representing physicians and healthcare institutions facing malpractice litigation.
He received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 2001 after completing his undergraduate studies at Colby College in 1995. Mr. Coakley is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; the State of Illinois; the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts; and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Kerri M. Morey, Associate
Attorney Morey joined Rindler • Morgan as an associate in 2005.
Ms. Morey is an experienced trial attorney who represents physicians, nurses, hospitals, medical organizations and other medical professionals in Rhode Island and Massachusetts Courts and before administrative licensing boards in both states. In addition, Ms. Morey advises health institutions, group practices and individual practitioners on medico-legal issues, concentrates in general and premises liability, and practices appellate law.
Prior to joining Rindler Morgan, Ms. Morey practiced as a civil litigation attorney in Providence, Rhode Island for five years where she tried cases before Rhode Island and Massachusetts Courts, represented clients before various administrative agencies and argued before the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
Ms. Morey is graduate of Rhode Island College (BA Communications/Public Relations, cum laude, 1997) and Roger Williams University School of Law (JD, 2000), where she was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Ms. Morey also studied at Inns of Court School of Law, London and Catholic University in Lisbon. While in law school, Ms. Morey clerked for Associate Justice Stephen Fortunato, Jr. in the Rhode Island Superior Court.
Ms. Morey is admitted to practice in Massachusetts (2002), Rhode Island (2000) and the US District Courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts and is rated BV by Martindale-Hubbell. Her published decisions include: Lucier v. Impact Recreation, Ltd., 864 A.2d 635 (R.I., 2005); In re Zak, 2004 WL 144110 (R.I. Super. 2004); and Quinn v. Tien, 2003 WL 136121 (R.I. Super. 2003).

Shana M. Solomon, Associate
Attorney Solomon joined the firm as an associate in 2006.
While at Boston College Law School, Shana gained experience in civil litigation working as an intern with a sole practitioner and, after joining as an associate upon graduation, she expanded her knowledge and experience in several areas of practice including plaintiff personal injury, residential real estate, family law, and estate planning.

Angela N. Cahill

Attorney Cahill has been an associate with the firm since 2007.
Prior to working as an associate, Ms. Cahill worked at Rindler Morgan as a law clerk and paralegal for three and a half years while attending the evening division of Suffolk University Law School.

Barrie E. Shapiro
